Top 5 Rated Olympic Programs (August 25, 2004)
Notes: data measured using people meters – individuals aged 4+ living in a TV household
Comments The TV ratings of the top five sport programs continued slight decline on Wednesday. Women's 3m springboard preliminary was rated the top at 9.6%, which is 0.9% less than Tuesday's top program. It could result from the schedule that fewer China's most competitive events were held on the past two days. Women's cycling track points race final got a 5.0% rating, ranked the second. No Chinese players reached men's volleyball and women's beach volleyball finals, but these two programs were top listed at 2.8% and 2.1% respectively. Considering they were on air during non-prime time, the ratings were still impressive.
