Comments As the defending Olympic champions ZHANG Jun/GAO Ling (CHN) in badminton mixed double gold match faced European champions Nathan ROBERTSON/Gail EMMS (GBR), the rating of sport event in China reached the highest 11.4% ever since the beginning of Athens Olympics. This match attracted an average of 6,254,000 viewers during one and a half hours long broadcast on CCTV 5. It was followed by women's skeet final (10% TV rating) in prime time. Another badminton gold match, women's singles between ZHANG Ning and Mia AUDINA (NED) also got an impressive rating of 8.3%, ranked at the third on Thursday.
