Comments Women's 25m pistol final got the highest performance, attracting an average 4,843,000 viewers (8.8% TV rating) during the fifteen minutes long broadcast on CCTV 5, while it is the women's volleyball preliminaries between Cuba and China with a second highest rating of 8.3% reached the most audience when 13,324,000 viewers tuned in at one time or another of the 2 hours long program. Women's shot put final, despite its non-prime time from 22:58 to 23:12, received a positive rating of 4.6%, ranked at the No. 5 today. The data also show that the major sport programs provider, CCTV 5, got consistent market shares with impressive figures of more than twenty percent during the night time.
