Sponsorship tender for the 3rd Tour Qinghai Lake International Highway Cycling Competition began |

The 3rd Tour Qinghai Lake International Highway Cycling Competition is scheduled to be held from July 17-25 2004 in Qinghai. The event is organized by State General Administration of Sports of PR China, State Administration of Radio Film and Television and Qinghai Government, co-organized by China Cycling Association, CCTV Sports Channel, Qinghai Sports Administration and Qinghai Chuangye Group. Mr Hein Verbruggen, President of UCI, is one of the Honorary Presidents for the Tour Qinghai Lake.
Up until now the Organizing Committee has invited 20 teams from around the world to participate in the competition, including 4 TT1, 4 TT2 and 9 TT3 level teams (TT3 isthe highest level in professional competition), as well as China National Team, Chinese Hong Kong Team and the Qinghai Team. The promotion center of the event is currently seeking business partners worldwide: 30% or more of the sponsorship income will be spent in the promotion of the sponsors.Representatives of sponsors will be invited to attend the press conference to be held in the Great Hall of the People in mid May, the opening and closing ceromonies, as well as deliver speeches and award prize to the winners.
